My Favorite Quote

"There´s nothing to mourn about death any more than there is to mourn about the growing of a flower. What is terrible is not death but the lives people live or don´t live up until their death. They don´t honor their own lives, they piss on their lives. They shit them away. Dumb fuckers. They concentrate too much on fucking, movies, money, family, fucking. Their minds are full of cotton. They swallow God without thinking, they swallow country without thinking. Soon they forget how to think, they let others think for them. Their brains are stuffed with cotton. They look ugly, they talk ugly, they walk ugly. Play them the great music of the centuries and they can´t hear it. Most people´s deaths are a sham. There´s nothing left to die. "

Thoughtful

Why is it that people never appreciate what they have? Why do we need change in something before it becomes interesting?

Most people don't even think about the leaves on a tree until autumn. Or ever pay attention to the ordinary man walking past them. Whatever it is it drives the news media.

People should be appreciative of just waking up, being able to walk on two feet, having a roof over their head, being able to eat, and being able to think.

Televised Society

What is
Projected on the screen?
Emotions and feelings
Family and friends
Personal history
Hard action and violent explosions
Tragedy and hopeless despair
Soft love and cozy flowers
Smart and stupid decisions
Politics and religion
Sadness and anger
Happiness and joy
Your personal perception
What the Hell are you projecting on
Don't project anymore

I mainly wrote this poem to express my views on how I believe most people view things in their lives. Everyone seems to think they know what they are doing, and they project the things they know and their experiences on other people and situations all the time.

Headphones

From noise to music
From tangled to straight
Comes in many forms
Streets with swarms
Creates a bubble
That gives you a ride
And a way to observe
The world
Providing serenity and
Solitude

Past and Present

I often wonder why people seem to forget the past. Perhaps they never knew it. I remember many children asking, "Why do I have to learn about history?" I believe many of those children were really asking, "Why do I have to learn at all?"
I am curious as to what seems to drive most people away from learning and away from the past. Maybe it is laziness or contentment with the status quo. Whatever it is, I wish there was a way to fix this problem. The world may be a better place for it.
Actually, what would make my world a better place would be the ability to learn about the future.

Sir Anthony Hopkins

Today I arose and had a sudden urge of enthusiasm to clean and organize my room. That may not be entirely true, but it needed to be done anyway.
A great thunderstorm was brewing as I began to start the clean up. So I decided to open my door and listen to the early morning relaxing sounds of the rain. Then along came an unexpected guest- Sir Anthony Hopkins. Now this wasn't the great movie actor, but it was a friendly young cat.
(Honestly I do not know what his real name was. I just called him Anthony, because it looked like the name fit him.)
Mr. Hopkins trotted curiously around the room as I went on about my business. After he had a satisfying looked around, he decided to be very friendly with me. Soon I had to go and Anthony and I said our goodbyes. Then we went on our merry way. And that is all I have to say.
